In the agreement, the government sought a guarantee from religious leaders that they would not expose a fatwa (decree) against it after the impeachment of the Minister of Justice. Asked about the conditions under which the protesters would leave Faizabad, the minister said that the TLP would announce the points of the agreement from its stage. The agreement between the two parties, the day after six protesters were killed in a tarpaulin operation, the signatures of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Interior Minister Arshad Mirza of the government and leader of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) Khadim Hussain Rizvi, Afzaldri Qadri and Mohammad Waheed Noor as representatives of the protesters. By the agreement, the government also agreed to release all those arrested during the protests within one to three days after complying with the legal requirements. It also pledged to drop all cases and release those who have been placed under house arrest. The Minister of Justice, Zahid Hamid resigns – ISI officials sign agreement as “guarantor” – Interior Minister seeks proposals to prevent future sit-ins On 25 November 2017, police launched an operation with tear gas and water cannons to evacuate the area where protesters from Tehreek-e-Labaik were camping during the last 20 days , because they had blocked the main roads to the capital Islamabad,[16] the government called the army to control the situation of law and order in the federal capital (Islamabad). [17] [18] [19] [20] The protest took place in other parts of the country, including rural and urban areas. The government has been subjected to strong public reactions and a large number of protesters have blocked national highways throughout the country. Police have been removed from most cities to avoid clashes.

The crackdown also sparked outrage against the ruling party and numerous mob attacks were carried out on homes of PMLN members, which forced it to flee their homes. Many other protesters died in clashes in Karachi and the suburbs of Lahore. Sit in it were kept until faizabad`s leaders asked them to disperse after the agreement. The crowds dispersed peacefully. Moon Sighting Council chief Mufti Muneeb your Rehman strongly condemned the government`s action. Pakistani politician Imran Khan has called for peaceful protests to be maintained without explicitly supporting or rejecting Tehreek-e-Labaik`s goals. [21] “We are grateful to him for saving the nation from a major catastrophe,” the agreement says in the Urdu. The agreement stipulates that, within three months, the government will take a decision from Parliament on the expulsion of the French ambassador, will not appoint its ambassador to France and will release all arrested TLP workers.

Even after consulting the sit-in, the government will not take any action against the leaders or workers of the TLP. The agreement accuses the government of mishandling the issue: “This party referred to the controversial amendment to the law concerning Khatm-i-Nubuwat and Namoos-i-Risalat, but unfortunately [the government] used force instead of giving an appropriate response.” There was no official confirmation from the government of the agreement, but the Interior Ministry announced the immediate release of all orders in the last two days from different parts of Punjab.
